Purely by chance Herr L and I went up the hill this morning at exactly the time the Christmas tree was being erected by the Bergverein.

We had the honour of being the last people up there before they closed the castle until January and we received a morning Schnaps as a reward!

Not really sure about this years' tree; I'll make my judgement when it's all lit up.
