Pesky Pussycat

There's this long haired black and white moggy that reckons sleeping on the roof of the MX-5 is the best thing ever.
Trouble is it softens the hood first by a lttle light clawing and then proceeds to roll around depositing long hairs - all of which seriously compromises the hood's primary function.
This contraption was intended to discourage it but as you can see it has been necessary to add ever more sharp pointy bits as the stupid feline is prepared to curl up fakir-like in the remaining spaces.
This is now turning into a battle of wills - next stop a lump of lion poo on the roof every night.
