There Once was anUgly Duckling.......

.......with feathers all stubby and brown - I hope you're all singing at the back ;-)))

Well, here he is practicing for when he emerges as a beautiful white swan. Actually, I think he's gorgeous now and I liked the way a short burst of sunshine lit up his feathers from the back. As I drove past I caught sight of this cygnet and many other water birds on a stretch of water that I've never visited before, I only had time for a short visit today but I think I will go back and investigate further another day :-))
