DERELICT THURSDAY - LATHALLAN HOUSE
Lathallan House was designed by architect Thomas Hamilton and built in 1826. The house was purchased, fully furnished, by the current owner's step-grandfather for the sum of £5,000. Planning Permission was granted in December 2012 for the restoration of Lathallan House to form 9 flatted dwellings, demolition of laundry outbuilding, restoration and refurbishment of stables to form 3 dwelling houses and erection of 36 dwelling houses and associated works. I think they're going to have their work cut out! Thanks to SarumStroller for hosting the challenge.
