Across The River

I helped CoffeePotter walk their two dogs again today. We walked around the River Avon in Stratford and had to keep stopping as people kept wanting to make a fuss of the dogs or to know what breed they are ( Bedlington Terriers) or how old they are etc etc. it took ages !
We stopped on Lucy's Mill bridge and were delighted to see a kingfisher dive into the water. We did get pictures but disappointingly, it was a blurred dot in the distance. At least we know where to go and look for it another time. By the time we had had coffee and cakes at the theatre cafe it was going a bit dark.
This shows the Shakespeare theatre. The swans, ducks and geese were all settling down for the night. The theatre was probably gearing itself up for Loves Labours Won which I believe is showing this evening.
