Seeds..

..Ordered late Monday, arrived today.. Now that's service!! Well done Moles seeds..

Quite a busy day in a quiet sort of way. Hung the mirrors we got yesterday, polished, and blackened the lead. Really pleased with them. I would have taken a picture of them, but by the time I'd sorted them out, the sun had gone around, and they did look good with the sun on them. Tomorrow maybe?

Then cleaned the windows, all of them, upstairs too which meant getting the ladders out..

While the ladders were out, seemed sensible to clean the gutters out too. One section was totally blocked with moss and grass..

And then planted some lettuce seeds, two trays of 20 seeds.. They're in the propagator, and will be planted in the polytunnel to prvide some early lettuce next year. They are hardy varieties, developed for overwintering in tunnels..

Went down the shop to pay an invoice for the Sports pavillion, and deliver a seed catalogue to J&S. Found out the shop only had one calendar left, so came back home to get another 20 for them..

A friend in the states has just had 3 feet of snow, dug paths so she could get to her livestock in the barn, and another 3 feet forecast for tonight! We've had a lovely sunny day again..
