Derelict Thursday
I've never joined in on a Blip challenge before, but I've been enjoying the pictures posted for SarumStroller's Derelict Thursday, so I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring.
Here's the chapels at Isleworth cemetery. The signs on the gates read "Caution. Falling Debris".
The cemetery has two notable memorials. One marks the grave of Alice Ayres who, in 1885, became famous for her bravery when she rescued 3 children from a burning building, losing her own life as a result.
The other commemorates Tom Pears, of the Pears soap family, who died in the sinking of the Titanic.
