The hip consultant saw Dad this morning and the decision has been made: he is booked in for a hip replacement next Wednesday. It's either that or try and fix the bone but it will leave him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. I've also had to make a decision on whether to tell our sister, so I've made the decision to let her know Wednesday morning. He's safe and stable now and I can't deal with all the texts she'll send.

Had a busy morning at the school which was a blessing as it kept me occupied. Unlike bedtime last night which found me unable to switch my brain off and I gave up looking at the clock at 2:30. Up at 7am and my dreams were filled with weirdness. I hoping for better luck tonight.
