Grass seed

Grass seeds are always fascinating in their textures and shapes - plus it was the only thing I could find on my mini-safari today.

I did see a couple of new butterflies (yes, indeed 2 more) but they went flitittering past and didn't land. I know they were new because one was black with white bits, and the other was white with black bits, not just ubiquitous browns that need to land before you can ID them.

I was absolutely thrilled that Sophie Thompson (whose garden we visited at the weekend) chose to publish a dozen or so of my images on her Facebook page. The link may not work, but we'll try it and see.
