Welcome Tiny

Here is the latest resident at The Beeches. Mum spotted Tiny wandering in the garden at lunchtime. He/she weighs only 276g which is far too small to survive hibernation. So Tiny is now in a warm box in my bathroom. We've provided bedding, water, mealworms and cat food. I gather that the first 24 hours are critical.

Some of you may remember our last rescue hedgehog, Lucky, from 2012.

Otherwise I've been at home going over the judging of the club competition for next week. I've narrowed it down, but it's hard to decide who has 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.

Tomorrow I'm off to the On Landscape conference in Penrith.
