Bit of a Day

Quick walk along the river to enjoy the high tide, before spending my day off over at Mum's helping her out whilst the electrician did his stuff. As seems the norm for us, it didn't run to plan and lots of unexpected problems arose. Eventually, after five hours work, fingers crossed we seem to be sorted and Mum's back on the grid. I rushed home for a quick tea ahead of meeting Laura, but we seem destined not to meet as the trains were all cancelled! A night of pjs, radiator bleeding, and HIGNFY instead.
