Cratered

The hollow is a very old, healed depressed fracture on a mediaeval parietal bone.
A long day and many cups of tea were required. One good thing was that we got the radiocarbon dates back for the site. Happily the stratigraphically earlier skeletons had earlier C14 dates.
Always a relief!
