And so it begins...

Early evening in Edinburgh and it was sparkling - wet pavements made the evolving festive lights and attractions shine even brighter. It's still a work in progress, but the carousel was having a test spin in St Andrew's Square and the StarFlyer - moved this year to alongside the Scott Monument - was in full flow already.

With "Driving Home for Christmas" floating across the the square, it really was beginning to feel a lot like..."it"!
