Last day at LPH
We started today's bliptour just south of Ambleside, about thirty minutes drive from LPH base. First stop was Slater Bridge but before reaching it we had taken many pictures of the beautiful Lakeland Fells draped in mist and very atmospheric.
The bridge is just wide enough for two people to pass and must have a very interesting history, it is very close to Cathedral Cave, managed by the National Trust and both are a 'must see' if your in the area. This took until late afternoon and with the sun beginning its descent over the horizon we left for base.
We finished with fireworks on the side of Derwent Water.
