TANTALISING:

This reminds me of the Himalayas, where, when the clouds lift, you have a tantalising view of the alps. There are lots of clouds round today, but in a clearing, there is an itty bitty view of the lake & an itty bitty view of the mountains, taken from my front terrace. That is the top of a chair in front. Looks as though we could be in for rain this afternoon. No wind.

Lovely smell wafting through the house as I've just taken my Christmas cake out of the oven. Been cooking 4 hours @ 150*C.
