The ticket story

Two tickets to the ballet - nothing so unusual about that.

But in Christchurch there's a long story. The Theatre Royal was badly damaged in the earthquakes 4 years ago. Initially it was thought it would be demolished, but a group of amazing people got busy and it has been rebuilt, restored and renovated, and re opened this week. It's just great to have got something back, somewhere we have happy memories of, and can now enjoy again. So little left from our past.

And I get to go with my wonderful daughter. Which as those who follow my journal will understand is the best thing that could happen.
