An Enjoyable Day

Earlier today I took a picture of the lily that is blooming for the second time since summer. It had four bulbs, then when they were done, I cut them back and noticed 4 more stalks coming up. Waited patiently and they have started blooming. A gift from hubby. Later our Grandson called to see if we could come help cut and wrap the elk he had gotten. A very nice 4 point. We headed out and soon his mom and dad also showed up. It was our daughters birthday, but we are celebrating it tomorrow evening. She thought it was a fun way to spend her birthday. Our Great Grandsons took us down to see all their Lego's. They have lots but spend many hours building things with them. We then began the business of getting the meat ready for the freezer. We made a fun time of it. Had quite stormy weather and on the way home had to stop and pull a tree off the road that had come down. I was disappointed I hadn't thought to take a picture. The bottom right side shows our daughters hubby, then her son, then her and her dad. She said it will be a birthday to remember!! :-)
