Say Cheese

Morning in Manchester. A walk around some of the Christmas Markets (which seem to be everywhere this year), and then up to the Northern Quarter.

Great atmosphere at this time of year, which is why it all gets so jam packed. We're out this evening, so came back before it all got too busy.

This is the Mrs Kirkham's cheese stall in Albert Square. Mrs Kirkham has evidently been busy over at Beesley Farm, Goosnargh !

In the Craft and Design Centre we overheard someone up from London - a special day trip from Euston to Manchester and back, breakfast on the way up and dinner on the way down. They'll have been impressed with the crafts - some really good thing this year.

PS I tried this in B&W but it looks loads better in colour. So I am having a short break from B&W today !
