Caught

The beach was for fishermen this afternoon.

A huge drift net was placed out into the sea with both ends of the beach a considerable distance apart. 4WDs were used to pull each end in as they slowly made their way towards one another. Fish were caught as the net moved in towards the shore.

I did anticipate some great shots of silvery fish thrashing about as they were pulled from the water. So did lots of other people so it became a little crowded around the catch as it was landed. I settled for this one of some of the fish being loaded into a tank on the pick up.

Also to show Van Persie had found something else to do on Saturday afternoons.
