Autumnal Goods Train

I took a ride over to the Great Central Railway this morning as they were having a mini gala weekend, which meant more frequent trains, and the occasional extra train such as this goods train, which only tends to run on gala weekends.

As it was bit of a cool damp morning, it meant that there was plenty of steam, and as the trains came round the bend I'm sure the drivers gave a bit extra throttle to produce more steam.

I've chosen this one from the few that I took as it is more unusual train and I think the red of the engine complements the autumnal colours that are still hanging on in the wood and hedges.
