Window cake!

Sounds more descriptive than Battenberg! (not sure if that is the right spelling)
Two friends came for a cup of tea and a chat today and enjoyed a slice.
I just made it back from the charity shop in time to get changed and greet them.
Mayhem in the shop today as the recycling sacks had not been collected and we couldn't move. Did as much as I could but felt I was fighting a losing battle.
Hopefully when we go back on Wednesday peace will be restored.
Last minute invitation to go for a meal tonight at the house of No1 son. Love last minute invitations, and the pork chop I bought for tonight will be enjoyed tomorrow instead!
