Avoch Harbour.

Both dogs were feeling a bit "under the weather" today, so there was no long walk this afternoon.

It was a beautiful afternoon so I took them for a drive down to the Harbour, took some photos, then it was a quiet, sedate walk along the seafront. They were not amused!

I wonder where the phrase "under the weather comes from" I must look it up.

Now that is interesting. It stems from the times of sailing ships. Illness on board spread rapidly, everything had to be recorded in the ship's log, if there were too many names of sick sailors to fit in the days space provided for their names, they were written in the column reserved for the weather conditions. It was not unusual for poorly sailors to be listed "under the weather"
