Biodegradable

A leaf losing its colour as it sits on the ground. While a leaf has colour, it is functioning, its just the chlorophyll has been drawn back in to the tree. The brown colour that leaf eventually turns to are from wastes left in the leaf. Of course these wastes are no reprocessed and eventually fed back in to the soil.
