Just another art project

This year, I have a first semester economics class; which means that community service is an easy part of my grade. First marking period, I helped the Rombergers run their petting zoo at the relay for life which was the easiest 4 hours of my life. I held bunnies and greeted people and then left. See, easy!
For the second marking period, I didn't have anything to do. So one of my options was to paint a ceiling tile.
Honestly, I'm horrible at painting. I feel like I have more control with a pencil, than a brush (especially when mixing and blending colors, you can always erase with a pencil but it's harder to cover with paint). With that being said, I did a quote. Not only because of my painting skills, but because if I started it, it would never get done. But a quote is pretty simple.
So I scoured Pinterest for any quote I feel like my teacher would like, I wrote them down, handed him the paper and let him decide.
He chose a quote from Amelia Earhart (as the tile says) and honestly, I couldn't be happier. I can honestly appreciate any woman throughout history and modern day who has the motivation to prove people wrong, and make their voice heard. That's exactly what she did, and even though her body has never been found, I still think that she was an icon of our great nation.
