Homage

to Mr John.

This morning I saw this wonderful blip by Mr. John, and wished I could produce something like it. I know I've got a long way to go, but you've got to start somewhere :)
Today was the start of the Oban Winter Festival, and my girl and I were doing a stall at the Victorian Market. A busy day, made better by the brilliant organisation, which had arranged free parking in town for the day, and free hot drinks for the stallholders. It was a long, but good day, finishing up with the arrival of Santa on his reindeer drawn sleigh, piped along the front by the Oban Pipe band.
Special thanks to Jim, superman with a van, and sometimes hammer dulcimer player, for coming to the rescue and saving two Victorian ladies from having to carry a heavy table two blocks in the rain.

Late blipping last night, and I forgot about the b&w challenge! Just changed this to mono. Day 4.
