Rising sun

There was a beautiful arc of cloud cover against part of the horizon this morning. The sun came up through the cloud as a hazy blob, but when it reached the top of the cover, it turned into something comet-like with a tail. The outbound container ship adds . . . something . . to the foto . . . not really sure?

DB presented me with a "consolation prize" this morning of a generic black plastic buoy float - but it did have the remnants of line attached, found in the same general area as his glass ball. Probably from the same ship? We're on the lookout for more, but this being a weekend, we've got lots more competition.
Kea arrived mid-afternoon yesterday and stayed overnite, was still there at 0810AM when I left.
