Stargazer Saturday

After lying awake for most of last night, listening to the rain, I was pleased to hear that H's football training was cancelled. Waterlogged and unplayable pitches ~ shame!
A busy day of to-ing and fro-ing followed the slow start. Coffee with a friend in the afternoon and no cake either!! I must be ill! ;-) I bought these flowers yesterday, beautiful lilies and roses. Reduced to silly money in M and S. Today they are filling the kitchen with their delicious scent.
More rain is hammering down as I type...it could be another long, dark night...
