West Coast, Punakaiki

We have been over to the West Coast for the weekend, and stayed in a holiday house called 'Perfect Strangers Bach' because much of the film of the same name was made there. The weather was typical 'West Coast', mild, wet, sometimes windy, and we were well placed to see the full power of the waves. This view is taken from just outside the bach. Today we drove back across Arthurs Pass in fine weather. A great weekend.

I will back blip for the last two days. No phone, internet or even TV at this place!
