Lupins

It's been a busy day at home as we welcomed the neighbours to our house to meet its soon-to-be new owners and also have a chance to have a farewell lunch.

After much food and drink (and I mean a lot of food) I felt the need for a bit of air, so I popped up the driveway to take this shot of some newly sprouted lupins with the valley as a backdrop.

I'm looking forward to getting my Samyang 12mm ultrawide angle lens, which is currently en route. It will give a bit more pop to these sort of shots for sure!
