Roll on January!

An early morning trip to Leighton Moss. Bearded Tits ... tick, Otters at play.... tick and even a Bittern. My title now makes sense because I intend to treat myself to a telephoto lens after Christmas. Otters were visible with bino's, as was the Bittern but not great with camera. Carol managed to get one of the Bittern by using her phone and a gentleman's monocular. Lucky her.
