All Saints Church, Thornton Dale, North Yorkshire

A grey and at times rainy Sunday. As the time got to three in the afternoon it was looking like all blip ideas had failed. Then, as I approached Thornton Dale a cloud curtain was pulled and the church on the hill was bathed in an ethereal light. I chose to photograph the entrance as it offered the greatest contrast range.
