Appaloosa?

Not sure that it is an Appaloosa but it is one of several little spotted ponies that reside in the fields next to Crowther Fold in the centre of our village. I love to see them in the summer rolling in the buttercups.

They gamble about here with one or two larger horses but are often too far away for a photograph. I didn't set off up here to take pictures of them before church but they were just there at the wall side. This one is darker than the other which is predominantly white with dark spots.

Sadly I had nothing to give them when they came to investigate me over the wall!
