Freedom at last!

It was reasonably quiet on the beach today so we decided to give Reggie a test of running free. He was pretty good. We had to retrieve him once from a group of people who he became attached to and wouldn't leave them alone. A bit embarrassing although they did encourage him and didn't seem to mind. We put him back on the lead as he spied a large Alsatian in the distance. We practised some recall which wasn't a total disaster and he had a lovely play with a Beagle, who he ran madly round the beach with but came back with him. Hopefully I will be brave enough to try again when I'm on my own with him!
