Extinguish

After nearly twenty years sometimes you have to say goodbye.
This is my old piano, the first Christmas present my husband ever gave me, which, bit by bit, has become a bit unloved by us all. Sadly it's overstayed it's welcome and despite much tuning it's beyond repair so had to go. One big lump of furniture taking up too much room. Nobody wanted it so the only way was brute force and and an axe to make it leave the building.
What to do with it? Best bonfire material ever and actually it was quite therapeutic to burn much nostalgia into a pile of ash.
