Too much light

This is the Star of Bethlehem in Salisbury cathedral projected over the font. Unfortunately there was to much light to see the reflection in the water. It is the text of Matthew 2:1-12. The story of the Magoo following the star. It is translated into Morse code which is projected on to the font and spills over onto the floor. The lines are moving outwards to meet your feet. It is like standing on the seashore waiting for the waves to reach your feet. It must look great in the dark. I shall have to wait for my next STETS weekend in January to see it in the dark when we go for evensong.
