Glacier

Ferner is the Austrian-German word for glacier. (In Standard German glacier is Gletscher, while ferner means further.)

In Sölden (Austria) for the weekend - skiing on the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers.

The weather was not the best with very low ground visibility.
