Teazle/Teasel

One wouldn't believe that one has been sitting in hides and walking around the Wood Lane Nature Reserve all afternoon, and was only able to come up with a blip of a Teazle/Teasel, would one?? but there it is. The day has been blue and beautiful but nothing much occurring at the Reserve apart from lots of fishermen, Swans and Coot a long way off and lots more exciting looking wildfowl, far too far away for me to capture.

Anyway it's been a beautiful day and I enjoyed my time walking talking to myself and being alone with nature!!

Once home I'm cooking:

Venison in Ale from Traquair House here which we purchased from the Brewery when we visited in September and I had this very recipe in mind. 2 hours slow cooking and will be served with fluffy mash and roasted baby carrots.
