the annual visit to Germany and great grandma's grave. As the dog was with us, I stayed outside the graveyard and gave Mr Spitzi my camera and told him to take a few photos. Unfortunately, I had failed to think about how sunny it was. But it's OK, family photos are always treasures and these "my haven't they grown" photos that we take each year are precious. The old ladies trotted out their old stories again and we loved listening to them again. The time with them is precious too, especially as we get more and more aware each year that it is running out.
