two judiths
Met up with Hazel, my old boss, this morning for a coffee before travelling through to Glasgow by train at lunchtime.
Hazel brought her little daughter, Nell, with her - so great to meet her!
Tash arrived at Haymarket and we jumped on the 1.04pm to Queen Street where we attacked Lucy at Costa Coffee :)
Train straight to Pollok Country Park where we went to see the Burrell Collection.
That's where we saw the painting of Judith beheading Holofernes. Pretty apt just now ;)
We walked and we walked and we walked....the last hour under the pouring rain and then headed to Lucy's for a cuppa before going for a gorgeous Indian meal for tea.
Almost the last train home...stank of drink and with plenty of revellers singing for most of the journey :-/
Met a gorgeous wee dog called Rosie in Pollok Country Park - she's a wee dachshund. Even got to pick her up and hold her for a bit. Then, on the bus on the way home at the end of the night, there was a couple with a cocker spaniel called LEO! The exact same dog and name of dog(!!) as my dad! Only, it was a girl :) So, so funny.
I have to get myself a dog....I'm missing Coquine so much.
