Local wander

Out for a Dobbies breakfast then out for a wander with the dog

This is Bangour Village Hospital which cared for people with mental diseases. Originally opened as a military hospital in 1906 it finally closed in 2004 and has been left to go to ruin. I was actually born here in the Bangour General Hospital located at the top of the hill which was built as an annex to the Village Hospital. This had also closed but in the early 1990's (it's now a farmers field)
