Fiery
This afternoon suddenly turned showery and threatening after a lovely sunny morning, and I'd given up on (a) any notions of going out - I have this cough ... and (b) any hope of a blip other than a photo of my dinner, when I noticed a glow in the house coming from the back windows.
This dramatic last hurrah of the sun over the houses is the Dunoon view of what people on the other side of the Clyde saw as a glorious sunset. The 'rays' effect made me think of the hymn much beloved of a late Bishop of Argyll - Bright the vision that delighted. Dreadful poetic diction, but that's hymns for you.
