Morning Light On The Island

Bob headed up north today to our boat this morning quite early, so I got up before the sun rose and headed for Sauvie Island. I'm so glad I did as the rising sun and the quality of light was beautiful. It was very windy and cold, but I was able to tough it out for a couple hours. My timing was perfect as it's been raining ever since:)

I was able to get a bit closer to the sandhill cranes, but something spooked them and the entire field lifted and flew east.
