Glasgow Day...

More birthday goings on today. This was the mysterious weekend event that MrsTFP had organised. There were a few clues but I didn't really know until we were on our way without kids.

A half day of christmas shopping, followed by a wee shot of the sky ride and rock climbing at Braehead. It was great fun. Finished off the height shenannigans with a thing that they call 'The Drop' You get attached to a rope via a climbing harness and invited to get down the 15 metre drop from the ceiling to the ground by way of stepping off a platform in less than 2 seconds. The rope is attached to an air brake thing which slows you down gentlyish just before the ground. A very close approximation to proper falling the distance.
