Feeling fat already

A few weeks ago I made a Christmas cake. I wasn’t very happy with it so today I’ve made another one. The first is 8 inches and this one is 9. There is so much fruit in this one that I had to use a HUGE mixing bowl.

Master F wanted to start to eat the first one today but I need to put the marzipan and icing on it first. Having looked at it today it looks better than I thought it would.
