National Gallery
We were down in Canberra for the weekend, visiting daughter Carly and her partner Jimmy who have just purchased a house. While there we visited the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery before strolling along the banks of Lake Burley Griffin, in preparation for "Beer O'clock" at a new hotel on the waterfront in Kingston, aptly called the "Walt Griffin". The walk was bloody hot, but the beer was cold :)
When strolling through the gardens of the National Gallery I snapped this bit of architecture before giving it a bit of treatment
