Watery Walkway
On our last morning on holiday we went down to the beach as usual to watch the waves!
There's a great walkway that extends into the sea (different amounts of it are exposed, depending upon the state of the tides), and it's brilliant because you can get right up close to the waves without getting wet!
The bits of walkway that are regularly submerged are very interesting - lots of barnacles, seaweed and algae, as well as spots of rust!
Here's a close-up of the actual bit you walk on. It's really odd to peer down the gaps when the waves are sloshing up and down - you almost feel like you're moving! Great fun!
There were so many potential blips from our short holiday by the coast. I hope you like the ones I've selected.
