Divided opinion

A sculpture from the Broadgate Art Trail in London that people seem to love or hate. This shows part of the 55 foot high Fulcrum which stands near Liverpool Street Station in London. The commission was to create 'a large piece for a small space', and the sculpture is five sheets of steel which seem to simply lean against one another. Usually you can step inside, but not today. I have never been a big fan of this piece, but the sculptor Richard Serra enjoys controversy around his art, so maybe it has worked on me after all!
