Sometimes you just have to stop and stare!

Dear Diary,

Something caught my eye and I pulled the car over. I have never seen a sky quite like this before. I don't think the photograph does it justice. I just stood and stared at it and then came to my senses and made the photograph.

I'm sure there is a meteorological explanation for what was occurring but I really don't want to know the "science". I was just so happy to stand there and stare. We need to take the time to really look at all the amazing things that are happening all around us everyday. They may not all be as dramatic as this sky but beautiful nonetheless.

Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore. There is always something to make you wonder in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf.
