Jackdaw

There were a number of Jackdaws on my next door neighbour's roof.And as you can see,there was rather a loy of moss.
They obviously knew there was something under the moss and proceeded to turn over every piece in turn!
And sure enough they were findin worms,slugs,beetles and what ever?

Not daft are they?
