Nephthys Regatta

Despite the dreary weather and being completely exhausted (somehow after Wahoo I ended up staying awake until 6am, and then woke up at 9am), I wanted to head down to the river to watch the Jesus boats compete in the regatta. It is held prior to Christchurch Regatta which is in 7th week and is for novice boats. Polly and Caragh were in the Women's A boat but had some issues with catching a crab and then crashing to take off the bow of the boat, so couldn't continue the race. The boys also had disappointments with catching crabs - however, it's all practice for Christchurch next week where we will hopefully do better! The Men's B team did well though.

Otherwise I spent the day relaxing and doing a little bit (but not much) reading.
